Surprisingly, i'm in this picture, as are both of my friends, the chances of that are extremely slim. I'll not be highlighting (thats a clue) my location, but i'm sure you can guess.
On a side note, update your blog JDog, lol. I left you a comment case you didnt notice.
Note for Rob - I asked you about this a while back, cameras that is, I am looking at this, a little less expensive than the F100FD, just wondering if you have any thoughts on it?
I am a total noob as far as photography goes, but pictures on your site have inspired me, so I am looking for an entry level digital camera. The F100FD is not out of my price range, I just wonder how "noob" friendly it is.
Now I feel like a spammer, but this is the ad in the USA at BestBuy for the F100FD. I am curious on the price difference and such. I know your not an expert per se, just looking for thoughts.
Sorry about the delay in responding about cameras. That one looks nice. It seems to be a cheaper version of my camera. I don't think you'll miss the resolution and it has the most important thing, a rechargeable battery and SD card compatibility.
It will deliver pretty good pictures automatically, if you want to develop your skills then you might want to look for ones with a manual mode too, so you can play with exposure to get more creative. Canon make some really good Powershot cameras at this price range, I think they provide full manual options. The only thing with those is that you don't get rechargeable batteries supplied, but you can use NiMh ones.
I use the Fuji for snaps and the SLR for when I want to really play with the medium. If I only had one camera I'd go for something like the Canon.
what i always seem to notice about your pictures, rob, is that they all look as though they've been taken from a helicopter or from up a ladder. i'm sure if you took a picture from straight above your head, all we'd be able to see is constellations.
Yeah, I made a terrible choice on sandwiches, egg and baken with no moisture made for an overall dry and disappointing sandwich, needs more moisture. But I digress.
What can I say, I'm tall person. For this shot I held the camera as high as I could. Holding the camera very low or very high can give a shot a tad more impact.
Infact, this shot as taken just as my pal was explaining my Lex Luthor comment to my other pal. Oh what fun we young adults have. To be honest i'm still a kid.

Also; I, too, am in the picture. You took a photo of me eating a stale egg sandwhich :)
