Insomniac Dreams

I keep having this dream where I'm lying awake, trying to get to sleep.

Or at least, I think am.

Strange dream. I'll find out what it means

I have that dream too, except that I'm not in a bed, I'm stolling through a strange city that seems to be made completely out of concrete. Everything is completely monochromatic and I'm not trying to get to sleep, I'm walking someone elses dog. The dream always ends when I reach some kind of parking lot in which the lines are painted yellow (the only colour other that the grey buildings and streets). I realise that I'm dreaming and wake up 2 hours before my alarm is due to go off every time I have the dream. Interesting that we all have such similar unconcious experiences.
