Thought for the Dazed

I've had to give up that Distance Learning course as I was having trouble seeing the teacher.

Weather Flow for Windows Phone

image

There are loads of weather applications for Windows Phone. Today, on a whim, I bought one. Weather Flow looks lovely. It also has really nice Live Tiles. There are only two things I don’t like about it. It can be a tad slow to find the weather information (although nothing terrible) and it doesn’t have exactly where I live on its list of locations.  Worth a look though.

Just taken delivery of my new Windows Phone (having finally graduated from WM6.5), and this was the first (and so far only) app I have paid cold hard cash for. Works really well... my issue with the locator is it doesn't seem able to decide where I am sometimes. Yesterday evening I was in Cottingham at one update, Hull at the next and then Barton on Humber later on ... having never left the comfort of my own home.

Oh ... and after the Battery Saver option kicked in the other evening, the live tile didn't come back to life on charging, but unpinning it and pinning it again solved that one.

It also, always seems to think I should have a brolly with me, regardless of the actual weather.
