Lumia 800 Going Red

Got a spiffy red case for my Lumia 800 today. I like the way that it really looks part of the phone, even to the way that the buttons show through holds in the case itself. I’ve got a blue one on order so that I can change the colour to reflect my mood. As long as I only have three moods – black, red and blue.

Make sure you get the proper Nokia one, it has the cut-outs for the buttons. There are some, ahem, unoficial ones that don't fit as well and don't have the cutouts.

Firsly I'm in love with the Lumia and have to wait until the summer to purchase it, which will be difficult...
Secondly, do you recommend getting the black Lumia with a red case? I like the look of the blue phone but red is my favourite colour - is there any chance of an actual Lumia in red being released or should I get the black with this case? Is it basically like having a red one?

The case does a very good job of looking like it is part of the phone. It is also very opaque. You could put the red case on the blue phone and it might look quite cool, you'd see blue bits through the holes in the top and bottom.

I always use the phone with the case on, and I find that the black phone looks OK underneath the cases.

It looks so good. I am against the rubber-condoms on phones mostly, but it fits so good and the red looks awesome, i think i have to buy one and try it out. Especially because my Lumia's back is already surprisingly worn out, nothing serious but far from new.
