Thought for the Dazed

I've had to give up that Distance Learning course as I was having trouble seeing the teacher.

Working in the Lab

PS Move

Spent most of today in the lab with the new first year students. Great bunch. In the very first lab session we bombard them with a maths diagnostic, a whole bunch of tasks, some questionnaires and last, but not least, they write and run a C# program. They took it all in good heart and it was great getting to know them. Lectures start on Monday. Looking forward to it.

Rob:

Any recommendations for a US college that actually teaches C#. Most US colleges teach programming using languages that are not used in real business. They focus on concepts, which are clearly important. However, the job market focuses on experience. Specifically .NET experience.

I'm afraid I can't help you with this as I'm not clued up on the scene in the US. This guy might know though:
