My New Book is in the shops

A man from UPS dropped of a big box today. In it were 10 copies of my latest book. One of the many nice things about writing for Microsoft Press is that they give you 10 free ones.

I’ve been through the text and not found any mistakes so far, which is rather nice.

Oh, and for the student who won the Super Geek Word search at the Summer Bash, your prize has now arrived……

Is the "New Book" you are talking about XNA Game Studio 3.0 isbn 978073562658 or More XNA Game Studio 3.0 isbn 0735626596 ? Found the former available from Amazon.com a week ago and am over half way through it. Just found the link for the latter today. Amazon US calls it out of print; Amazon UK calls it not yet published. Pubication date on UK site listed as June 3, 2009. No publication date listed on US site.

The new one is the first one that you mention, which is on the end of the link in my post. I think you can buy that one now (and it seems that you have - I hope you like it).

The other one is still on the stocks I'm afraid. I've been diverted into writing XNA courseware rather than the advanced text.
