Aged in the Wood
Monday, May 4, 2009 at 09:50PM Went out to a DIY centre today to buy some correctly sized bath plugs, among other things. They had a big sign outside saying “Selected Cuprinol at special prices”. I can just imagine the salesman.
“A cheeky little little number with a smooth flavour and a lovely finish..”

Bath plug: think you put in the plug-hole of a bath so that you can fill said bath and bathe in it. Best if purchased in the correct size.
DIY center: Emporium for those happy to engage in "Do It Yourself" activities, usually on Bank Holidays (days in the UK when the banks are shut and we can have a day off). People go and buy tools, raw materials and then try and build things with them. As a result hospital emergency room admissions figures go way up on Bank Holidays.
Cuprinol: Wood preservative (like Creosote) used to stain wood and stop it rotting.
