True Story

Whilst scanning the receipt for my MacBook (which I needed to do to validate the purchase date and get the broken battery replaced) the battery in my MacBook Pro failed.

I've just remembered that the first thing I did with my new MacBook when I bought it last year was to lend it to Number One Son because his MacBook Pro was away being mended because, yes, you've guessed it, his battery had given out.

Hey Cameron, I've just finished my first year at Hull and it was great.

So Rob, I'm guessing your pending an interesting conversation with an Apple rep over the phone soon. What's the bet they want you to ship both the machine and the receipt over to them. But because you couldn't validate your warranty, at your cost.
