Thought for the Dazed

I've had to give up that Distance Learning course as I was having trouble seeing the teacher.

Fantastic Mockup Software

Adam put me on to this software. He plans to use it for his design documents for his Final Year Project. It is really nice if you want to make mockups of your user interfaces and storyboard your programs before building them.

Balsamiq

The supplied templates look really good, in fact I’m tempted to get a copy myself…

I'd just like to add that a new version is apparently released weekly - there are a couple of neat new additions in today's release - and installation/upgrade is as simple as revisiting the webpage and reinstalling via the browser :)

The best £51 I ever spent.

Hi there, gents,
What a delightful surprise to find this post from a note on our FaceBook fan page. :-) We are so glad that you guys are enjoying working with our little tool. Adam is right, we release every Tuesday (unless it's just too good to wait, then we sometimes release over the weekend.) It's great having you in the mix, and we welcome your feedback anytime.

Keep up with us on our blog http://www.balsamiq.com/blog/ and stay in touch. We love to hear from our users!

Rob, no need to buy it...

"If you are willing to demo Mockups to an audience of at least 15 people (at a user group, a conference, a BarCamp), email us your info and we'll give you two licenses, one for you to keep and one to give away at the event, FREE of charge."

OR

"If you are a technical/software blogger or journalist willing to write us up (honest reviews are the most useful to us) email us a short blurb with the link to your blog and we'll send you a license, FREE of charge, so that you can evaluate Mockups properly."

You might get away with the 2nd ;)

Or maybe even the 50% off "student discount" for the bulk orders

I'd be happy to do a demo - I'd get a refund (or two licenses) and could give you the extra one?
