Thought for the Dazed

I've had to give up that Distance Learning course as I was having trouble seeing the teacher.

Adobe Steal another Half Hour

There goes another chunk of my life. Because the Adobe updater kicked in during a print this means that it broke the print operation and locked the file in the spool queue of the printer, which meant that I had to uninstall the printer, reboot and then reinstall it again.

Now, who do I send that bill to?

No, Adobe... And to avoid these kind of things happening, you might want to check out Foxit Reader. Reads PDF's, but a lot faster than adobe, and without nasty updates ;-)

By the Way, great session at the DevDays!

I had a go with Foxit, but it didn't like the files produced by my PDF generator. However, I'm up to a new version now, so I might try again.

And thanks for the kind words.
