Thought for the Dazed

I've had to give up that Distance Learning course as I was having trouble seeing the teacher.

Audience Boosting

Apparently, according to research posted on the Internet (so it must be true),  a blog post which expresses deeply held personal beliefs and opinions actually gets more comments and interest than one which just conveys information.

I've been looking through my last posts and decided that they don't actually do either. So, with all this in mind here goes:

"I don't like broccoli very much"

I read an article in Mean Machine many years ago in which Julian Rignall described biting into a brocolli stem and it being filled with worms. That put me off for a long long time.

Is that the vegetable from the Cabbage family or the Japanese games company?

Surely you have nothing against the 'Bond' Broccoli!

I'm pretty sure that broccoli is not as good for you as some people would have you believe. Wouldn't it taste a lot better if it was good for you? I would sure hope so. now sugar is clearly good for you.

I also see that opinion posts at my blog get more comments. They are also more likely to be linked to and to be read by people. If only I could figure out if being right or being wrong attracted more readers.

I just don't believe the research.

I have to agree with Rob, there is not a huge amount to like about brocolli other than the fact that once you've eaten it, it's GONE!
