York Under Water

We went to York today, the weather was nice, but bits of the city were under water.

I think they are going to need more than that crane in the distance to sort out all the mess thats been made.

Hull doesn't flood a lot, does it? Not that I'm too worried, up on the top floor, but 'tis still a niggling worry.

Hull used to get flooded every now and then but now we have a great big tidal barrier thingy to stop the river overflowing. Sometimes they open it up to the public to wander round. If you are into big (and I mean big) engineering it is worth a look.
