Thought for the Dazed

I've had to give up that Distance Learning course as I was having trouble seeing the teacher.

XNA Launch Event

XNA Game Studio Express Launch: Warwick University Conference Centre - Wednesday 13 December 2006

XNA Game Studio Express is the next generation of games development platform from Microsoft.  If you want to find out more about this, and how you can use it to create games for the XBOX 360 using Visual Studio, I am running a trip to Warwick. I will be driving a minibus down the night before (12th of December) returning on the evening of the 13th.

On the night of the 12th I will be staying at the Birmingham Maypole Travelodge, which is shiny new and at time of writing offering double rooms at 26 pounds a night.

If you want to come along you must do the following (in this sequence).

If you have any interest in games programming you really should come along to this event.

No hes not - he'll say how good this XNA studio is as it half games development of indie studios releasing games on marketplace in order to keep people from demanding his games to be stuck on a true games cycle of from 1-1.5 years.

Plus seen as most developers like employees having C++ over C#. It'll be good for hobbyists releasing content on live and possibly garage game type companies

I just got a call from Travelodge about this. Will call them back in a minute about it now I know which one we have transferred to.

Also, should I have received some sort of confirmation from the the people at the conference of my place by now? I am yet to hear anything back by e-mail or post. :S
