Nope, Not Funny

Hmmm. Nothing in the "Computer Quips" is funny. Or perhaps I've just lost my sense of humour.

My favourite joke of all time is still funny though:

A horse walks into a bar and the barman says "Why the long face?".

I'm smiling now....

Robs jokes are considered offensive weapons in 3 counties in the UK. They are currently under review at the International Criminal Court as to whether they breach the European convention on Human rights. Leading Humanitarians consider them 'Cruel and unusual punishment'.

The counter argument is that the students who are most exposed actually pay to be there so could be considered consenting masochists.

There is but one joke that beats the long face. It has pulled smiles, tears and threats from many, many of my (ex) friends.

A very tatty, tangled piece of string walks into a pub and asks for a drink. The barman says that he can't serve him because he is a piece of string. "Ah", says the piece of string, "But no, I'm afraid not."

Person 1: That's a nasty gash on your forehead! How did you get that?
Person 2: I bit myself.
Person 1: How did you manage to bite yourself in the forehead?
Person 2: I stood on a chair.

And, of course,a man walks down the street and he sees a guy with an orange for a head...
