Thought for the Dazed

I've had to give up that Distance Learning course as I was having trouble seeing the teacher.

Micro Framework Discussion > Help with .Net Micro SSL support

Hi Rob,
I'm reading your great, .net micro, book and i didn't understand if System.Net present in .Net Micro had SSL support.

Chapter 6 - The System.Net Namespace
"That is, this namespace omits higher-level functionality such as HTTP, FTP, and SMTP support, in addition to authentication and secure communications (Secure Socket Layer, or SSL)."

I understood that is possible to use SSL, but i don't understand how! Can you help me?

Thanks!

Regards,
Pedro Januário

I think (but I'm not sure) that SSL support is in version 2.0. I must admit (and this is true) that I didn't write that chapter. I think if you ask here:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx?dg=microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.microframework&cat=en_us_C4FAF74A-95F6-CD60-F2E1-ED8EDB03324B&lang=en&cr=us

.. you should be able to get an answer.
